Q&A's
What is rush?
Rush is a week long process for Sigma Delta Sigma in which we hold social events for non-affiliated ladies to learn about our organization and our sisters. These fun gatherings allows you, the rushee, to gain insight of our strong sense of sisterhood and the opportunity to become a part of that!
How do I rush?
Simply attend our events! Come out with your friends, your new roommate, or come as you are, with our events you’ll get the opportunity to meet new people!
Do I need to go out to ALL of the events?
No, you don’t. There is absolutely no obligation attached to our events. The purpose of our events is for you to get to know us and for us to get to know you. If you can't make it out for any event, contact us for more information.
What are the benefits of joining Sigma Delta Sigma?
The benefits of becoming a SigDelt are great. You will be able to find your niche here at UCI. You’ll gain sisters and friends that will last a lifetime. For many of our sisters that are not originally from the Irvine area, Sigma Delta Sigma has become a family away from home.
As a SigDelt, you will also gain access to an alumni network of 200+ successful women in various careers. We can help you expand your network and provide the opportunity for growth as a leader, further enriching your college experience.
Do you have a Big/Little Sis program?
Yes, we do! Every sister will have a big sister to lean on and essentially act as a mentor to her little sis.
